About Study Course

Objective

Development of professional competences of students in sports games (football and volleyball). Orginisation of sports games and the ability to manage the flow of sports games. Understanding volleyball and football and learning techniques.

Preliminary Knowledge

The level of knowledge, skills and skills required to start didactic studies in sports games (football, volleyball) must comply with the requirements of the sports standards of schools system in Latvia.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Know the rules of sports games (volleyball and football) and the principles of the game.

2.Know the benefits of different tactics for sports games (volleyball and football).

3.Know the refereeing gestures of sports games (volleyball and football).

Skills

1.Know how to organise sports games (volleyball and football) competitions.

2.Knows how to apply the relevant tactics of a sports game (volleyball and football) to win the game.

3.Be able to apply the correct refereeing gestures to the relevant situation of a sports game (volleyball and football).

Competences

1.Ability to organise sports matches (volleyball and football) on FIVB and FIFA rules.

2.Ability to operate both individually and in groups to adapt to changing event conditions.
