About Study Course

Objective

Objective: Develop students’ knowledge of the basic principles and methodological considerations of intercultural psychology, critically evaluate interactions between culture and psychology, critically evaluate and interpret in a reasoned manner the impact of culture on the psychological processes of the individual and group in modern society.

  • Analyse the situation on the basis of a specific concept of intercultural psychology.
  • A description of the situation is inserted into one of the AI tools and the results are compared.
  • Provides key findings when reflecting on the result.

Work in pairs, students choose one empirical study of intercultural psychology from the proposed list (or co-ordinate with the lecturer). Systematic critical analysis shall be carried out:

defines the research question, theoretical framework, methodology, possible cultural prejudices, questions of equivalence, interpretation of results and practical conclusion. Offers recommendations for improving the study.
