About Study Course

Objective

Prepare ophthalmologists, who will be able to treat patients with eye trauma.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Ophthalmologists will know: Mechanisms of eye trauma; Methods of diagnostic and treatment of eye trauma; Emergency situations in ophthalmology.

Skills

1.Acquires skills about: 1. Photography with Baltina prothesis 2. First aid in emergency situation 3. To take out corneal foreign body 4. To take out foreign body from conjunctiva 5. Surgical treatment of penetrating injury of cornea 6. Treatment of intraocular foreign body

Competences

1.To evaluate mechanism of eye trauma, and best diagnostic and treatment options.
