Active participation in practical classes: examination of patients, observation and assistance of surgical operations. The clinical work performed by the student in the practical classes must be regularly reflected in the "Student's Diary in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery", and a signature must be received from the teacher in time. At the study course student’s performance is evaluated in a cumulative assessment.

The total final grade is formed from the fulfillment of the following criteria with an appropriate proportion:

  • Attendance — 10%
  • Communication with staff, peers, and patients — 10%
  • Performance in classes and seminars — 80%

Attendance

0 absences — 10 points

1 absence — 5 points

2 absences — 0 points; continuation of studies requires the dean’s approval

Following Study Regulations I (01.07.2025), Section 2.17, in cases of excused absence approved by the dean or vice-dean, students may be awarded bonus points (up to 10).
