About Study Course

Objective

Learning the specifics and peculiarities of planning, organizing, and managing recreational events, as well as gaining knowledge of the Latvian Republic laws and regulatory acts related to event planning and organization.

Preliminary Knowledge

Successful completion of study courses “Professional improvement in qualification Recreation specialist I” and “Professional improvement in qualification Recreation specialist II”.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understands the importance of recreational activities in restoring a person’s physical, mental capacity, in the process of building personality and social relationships. Understands LR legislation in relation to the organisation and implementation of mass events.

2.Know the types of recreational activities and understand the choice of activities to be used in recreational activities according to the age, fitness, type of occupation and interests of participants in the event.

1.Expertly evaluate and analyse aspects and problems of the organisation and implementation of recreational activities. Professional issues related to the planning, organisation and implementation of recreational activities shall be addressed using the acquired theoretical bases and skills.
