Requirements for the selection of the scientific study. The scientific study to be analysed shall meet the following criteria: published in 2020-2026 (except classical studies recommended by the lecturer); published in a peer-reviewed internationally quoted scientific journal; indexed in an internationally recognised database of scientific publications (e.g. Scopus or Web of Science); corresponds to one of the topics of the study course; there is an original empirical study (quantitative, qualitative or mixed-method research). For example, about: promoting motivation in physical activities; self-efficiency; psychological well-being; physical activity interventions; the involvement of pupils; body image; health-enhancing behaviour; psychological resilience; group dynamics; other subjects covered by the course. Systematic literature reports, narcotic reports, meta-analyses, opinion articles and other secondary scientific sources are not used for analysis. Student assignment: select or receive a scientific study on the psychology of physical activity, critically analyse its purpose, methodology, key findings and limitations, and prepare a professional reflection on the practical role of the research in the sports and health learning process. It is recommended that the analysis include: the problems of the study and the characteristics of the target; a critical assessment of the methodology and results of the study; the importance of key findings in the sport and health learning process; the possible application of the research findings in the professional activities of the teacher; a professional reflection on how the study has added to a student’s understanding of the psychology of physical activity and its importance in working with students. Structure of analysis: What is the main problem and purpose of the study? How convincing and credible are the results obtained? Which lessons are most relevant to a teacher’s professional activities? How could these lessons be used in the sports and health learning process? How has this study added to my understanding of the psychology of physical activity and my future professional activity? Rating: Excellent (27-30%): Critically analyse the methodology, results and conclusions of the research, evaluate their quality, substantiate the practical application of the research in the sports and health learning process in a reasoned manner and provide a professional reflection on its role in the professional activities of the prospective teacher. The work fully meets the requirements of academic writing. Good (23-26%): analyse the methodology, results and conclusions of the study, justify the practical application of the study and peer review, but some aspects are not sufficiently thorough. Insignificant shortcomings in academic writing have been made in the work. Sufficient (18-22%): partial analysis and evaluation of the study, professional reflection and justification of the conclusions are superficial. There |

Design structure: characterisation of the situation (specific class or target group). Wording of the problem. Scientific justification (based on recent empirical studies). A plan for pedagogical intervention. Expected results and options for evaluating them. Professional reflection. Submit the work in writing. Rating: Excellent (45-50%): Analyse the situation, reasonably justify the pedagogical intervention project with the latest scientific research, develop a practical solution and professionally justify its implementation. Good (38-44%): analyse the situation and develop a pedagogical intervention project based on scientific literature. The project is practicable, but the reasoning for the sites is not sufficiently in-depth. Sufficient (30-37%): partly analyses the situation and develops the project, but the scientific basis and practical applicability are incomplete. Individual solutions are insufficiently reasoned. Insufficient (0-29%): do not analyse the situation or develop a pedagogical intervention project meeting the requirements of the task or the project is not scientifically justified |
