About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in traumatology and orthopedics in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the specialty of neurosurgery.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understanding of diagnostics, differential diagnostics, and surgical treatment indications, as well as principles of application of diagnostic and medical methods (surgeries) in treatment of skeletal traumatic damages.

Skills

1.Ability to examine patients with spinal cord pathology and patients with skeletal traumatic damages, to apply simple and relevant methods of diagnostics and treatment.

Competences

1.The doctor, using the acquired knowledge and skills, is able to independently recognize and diagnose traumatological and orthopedic pathologies, evaluate them, if necessary, involving the relevant specialist.
