Selecting exercises in sport in external environments

12.50% from total grade
10 points

In outdoor conditions, it is necessary to find one or more objects and create ten exercises aimed at developing special physical preparedness or improving technique in your sport. The execution of these exercises must be recorded on video and later presented online during a session, providing justification for why each exercise would be beneficial in your sport.

Additional conditions:

  • Filming is not allowed in sports infrastructure facilities (stadiums, sports fields), nor is the use of sports equipment (harness systems, resistance bands, expanders).
  • One or more objects may be used, but the object must serve as a real form of resistance.
  • Natural elements such as hills, sand, water, and stairs (except movable ones) are not considered objects.
  • No living beings are considered objects.
2.

Games, obstacle courses in different age groups

12.50% from total grade
10 points

In your chosen sport, design one of the following activities: a game, an obstacle course, or a relay for the following age groups:

  1. 7 - 10 years
  2. 11 - 13 years
  3. 14 - 18 years

Each activity must include at least five elements necessary for improving technique or developing special physical preparedness in the chosen sport.

The activity must be recorded on video and presented during the session with an explanation and justification for the specific age group. The video must show continuous action, clearly displaying the five required elements. Edited or compiled video footage will not be accepted.

3.

Non-traditional exercises

12.50% from total grade
10 points

In your chosen sport, find five non-traditional partner exercises (with or without equipment). The student must perform these exercises, record their execution on video, and later present the material with an explanation of the exercise’s application.

A total of five exercises must be recorded, and the student must be able to explain the non-traditional nature of each exercise and its specific application. The partner must actively participate in performing the exercise.

Non-traditional exercises are considered those that incorporate elements (equipment or exercises) from other sports or exercises that coaches rarely use to achieve very specific goals.

4.

Selection in sport

12.50% from total grade
10 points

Based on the lecture material about selection and its stages in sports, each person must identify one selection criterion for each of the five stages in their sport and record it or depict it in another way, using themselves or someone else as an example. Third-party resources can be used. During the class, the corresponding selection criterion in their sport must be explained.

Coach's annual plan defense

50.00% from total grade
10 points

According to the lecture materials and the specified format, a coach's annual plan must be prepared for an athlete or a group of athletes in their respective sport. The annual plan must be defended during the class, justifying the preparation method and the application of periodization for the athlete's competition readiness.
