Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.The student is able to: • explain the terms of pediatric allergology; • describe allergic diagnostic principles of operation and use; • explain the pathogenesis of allergic diseases at different ages; • assess the child-allergic patient; • name and describe children's allergic diseases; • compare different methods of investigation.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: • collect relevant information about the children's allergic diseases anamnesis; • use the appropriate method for the investigation of patients with allergies; • perform spirography, provocation test for children; • select and make the best use of examination and treatment plan; • choose the most suitable/appropriate medications.
Competences
1.The student is able to: • formulate the diagnosis of allergic diseases; • use the acquired knowledge of children allergic diseases in the differential diagnosis; • interpret data from functional tests according to age; • analyse allergy test results according to age; • interpret the findings on allergy tests; • develop diagnostic and treatment plan; • justify the reasons for their choice.

Resident learns how to communicate with children of their parents, guardians, to collect the necessary information – history, to acquire the skills to investigate different ages allergic patients to choose and take them correctly, as allergy diagnostic and treatment procedures, to draw up a prevention plan. Every month resident prepares a presentation with a complex clinical case.
