Skills
1.The student will recognise and compare the proportions of the human body in different ethnic, age and gender groups; describe the meaning of certain anthropometric measurements (longitudinal dimensions, transverse dimensions, circumferences, fat tissue fold thickness); describe the meaning, changes, trends and influencing factors of body frame and mass; define the essence of body mass index, determination and possible changes thereof; assess and compare the fat tissue fold thickness in different locations and list possible changes thereof; work with specialised literature.
Competences
1.The student will be able to use the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge to skilfully determine individual somatometric points of the head and body, measure skin fat folds, determine plantogram parameters, calculate some indices of body proportions.
