About Study Course

Objective

Acquire dependence of knowledge and skills of doctor-patient relations in compliance with the qualification of the psychotherapist. Integrate the knowledge of residents in the understanding, evaluation and development of therapeutic factors of doctor-patient relations based on several approaches, taking notice of the personality traits of the physician and patient. Skills: making initial contact with a patient for the purpose of making therapeutic relations and formation and maintenance of therapeutic alliance.

1.ability to define and describe factors and mechanisms potentially leading to therapeutic doctor-patient relations, and preconditions for dysfunction.

Skills

1.develop a contact in therapeutic doctor-patient relations, develop a therapeutic alliance.

Competences

1.example-based knowledge, skills and attitude essential for working at a hospital and for research, raising public awareness via media; understanding of a team-work (work in groups) and its functions, psycho-dynamics, crisis situations and their solution; as well as the ability to manage the work of a multi-disciplinary team and be part of such team, supervise doctors and medical staff.
