About Study Course

Objective

To master basic knowledge of occupational medicine as a clinical discipline and its place in internal medicine.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Know the list of occupational diseases, their diagnosis, differential diagnosis, examination possibilities, incl. specific examinations and binding regulatory enactments and documents.

Skills

1.To take occupational medical histories, to draw up a plan of examinations, including also specific examinations, to interpret hygienic characteristics and safety data sheets of the workplace.

Competences

1.To evaluate work environment risks in relation to the possibility of development of occupational diseases, to participate in the resolution of matters on early diagnostics and treatment of occupational diseases, evaluation of work ability.
