About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course is to promote the professional development of masters by providing experience in working with various art therapy methods and techniques in all art therapy specialisms, promoting understanding of the group process and developing reflection skills on personal and professional experience.
Preliminary Knowledge
Completion of the course VPUPK_333 Professional Practice in Arts Therapies and Its Legal Foundations. The study course requires general academic skills: the ability to work with scientific literature, including in English, as well as the ability to plan the study work independently.

Independent work - creating a career development diary |

The student regularly produces a professional development diary during the course (48 ak/h) documenting experience with various art therapy techniques and techniques, reflecting on personal feelings, knowledge and aspects of professional development, and analysing the progress of the group process. Diary entries are created regularly throughout the course. The evaluation rubric is available in the e-studies environment of the study course. |

|
At the end of the course, the student develops a reflexive analytical report on his or her professional development experience based on the material accumulated in the Journal of Professional growth. The work shall analyse experience in working with methods and techniques of different specialisation of art therapy, describe their possible application to different groups of clients/patients, reflect on the group process and evaluate its role in personal and professional development. Theoretical justification shall be integrated into the work, linking practical experience with sources of literature. The evaluation rubric is available in the e-learning environment of the study course. Scope of work: 3-4 pages (approximately 1200-1800 words), excluding cover page and list of literature used. 30 ak/h of independent work. |
