About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course is to gain an understanding of the principles and actions of health care quality management and control system.
Preliminary Knowledge
Basics of public health, basics of health care organization.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.As a result of the study course acquisition, the student acquires basic knowledge that allows to set out, evaluate and apply the basic principles of health care quality assurance for the improvement of patient safety and the quality of services provided in a specific field of treatment.
Skills
1.The student acquires the ability to briefly describe, analyze and develop the system's systemic activities in quality assurance, is able to determine the quality improvement measures of a specific field of treatment, using quality management tools.
Competences
1.The student will be able independently analyze information and show initiative in the application of health care quality management principles, addressing the improvement of health care services.
