About Study Course

Objective

To gain in-depth knowledge about the peculiarities of post-operative care and rehabilitation of spinal patients, thus ensuring the competence of a spine surgeon in recommending and controlling the care and rehabilitation of this complicated group of patients. Knowledge of the course of rehabilitation in patients after spine surgery without neurological deficit.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Acquired sufficient theoretical knowledge to be able to competently and productively cooperate with rehabilitation professionals, ensuring the exchange of necessary information. Familiar with rehabilitation options and technologies. Can assess spinal cord injury.

Skills

1.Able to give specific instructions on the specifics of mobilization, care and rehabilitation of patients after various spine operations.

Competences

1.Acquired competences in the rehabilitation of patients of their surgical profile. Correct the course of rehabilitation, assess spinal cord damage, functional improvement, result, degree of disability.
