About Study Course

Objective

Provide in-depth understanding about mental disorders and biopsychosocial factors of origin and development of diseases, classification, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Students must acquire the following: •knowledge on manifestations, development and course of mental disorders and addictions and diseases in adults, teenagers and children; •skills in diagnosis, evaluation and differential diagnosis of mental disorders and addictions, and illnesses; •knowledge and skills required for treatment of mental disorders and illnesses, setting goals and elaborating a plan in order to choose the most appropriate methods of treatment and prevention, taking into account the biopsychosocial aspects.

1.diagnosis of mental disorders and diseases in accordance with SSK-10; elaboration of the plan of treatment, chose the most appropriate methods of treatment and prevention;

1.example-based knowledge, skills and attitude, raising public awareness via media; understanding of a team-work (work in groups) and its functions, psycho-dynamics, crisis situations and their solution; as well as the ability to manage the work of a multi-disciplinary team and be part of such team.
