Knowledge
1.- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation algorithm; - Airway management methods: manual, airway, endotracheal intubation, shared bronchial intubation, laryngeal mask, intubējošā laryngeal mask, Combitube tube - Artificial lung ventilation: mouth-mouth, mouth-nose with Ambu manual fan manually using anesthesia apparatus face mask; - Anestezējamā and coma patient's respiratory and hemodynamic monitoring, etc. monitoring activities; - General and regional anesthesia principles and stages of surgery; - Acute postoperative pain therapy.
Skills
1.• skills - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation practical application; - Be able to diagnose a patient in critical condition; - Ability to read and interpret the results provided by the monitor - Be familiar with the defibrillators-monitors; - Infūzterapijas and electrolyte imbalance correction

At the end of the course a resident has to write a test and the acquired skills must be evaluated in 10-point system.
