Aim: to acquire and strengthen knowledge, skills and competencies about the importance and application of physical exercise in strengthening health, health sports, improving one's physical fitness and ability to work.
Develop a program of physical activity recommendations for one month, using aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises, indicating your age, gender, height, weight, BMI, physical activity, physical fitness, health status. List the main goals in order of importance that you want to achieve through physical exercise. A matrix has been prepared in e-learning, which helps the student to prepare and design the program.
Carry out physical activities to improve one's performance. Physical performance is checked by a test in an optional order. Prepares various exercises and demonstrates them in a group depending on the principle of action ( strength, flexibility, aerobic), anatomical principle ( legs, back, arms, chest, abdominal muscles).
Independently study the various topics of the course from the literature sources provided by the lecturer in order to prepare for the theory test and develop a programme of physical activity recommendations.
1. Physical activity recommendations for the Latvian population
2. Recommendations for promoting physical activity in the Latvian population (2019)

4. Energy supply during muscle work, anaerobic exchange threshold. (pages 181-184)
5. Structure of sports training. (Gr. 2, p. 80)
6. Training load, fatigue symptoms after different load magnitudes (pages 81-84)
7. Stages of overtraining, triggers and aggravators of overtraining (p.84-85)
8. Health conditions in which sport is prohibited (pages 193-195)
