About Study Course

Objective

Provide an opportunity to develop and improve the ability to perform psycho-educational work by developing educational material in psychology based on professional information sources – educational program and methodological material. To implement the psycho-educational program developed during the course for a certain target audience in practice.

Preliminary Knowledge

Compulsory courses completed during the Bachelor programmes, Ethical and legal aspects of psychologist's professional activity, Group counselling.

1.Know and describe the basic theoretical and empirical principles of psychoeducation and the development of methodological materials in psychology.

According to the total amount of study course 1) to prepare purposefully for classes, including: • strengthen lecture material, read additional information sources, • acquire and use professional terminology, create a personal information/database on the selected topic, • keep up to date with industry and specialty topics, perform self-reflection of your activities. 2) to perform a literature compilation, data analysis and evaluation for the development of psychology-based psychoeducational programme and methodological material based on professional sources of information. 3) to select the place of placement and target audience, to co-ordinate it with the placement supervisor, to present the project of the psychoeducational programme in the study group.
