About Study Course

Objective

Acquire knowledge and skills on the use of a variety of trainers, free weights and dumbbells, acquire the relevant terminology, as well as the techniques and safety principles for exercising, providing the basis for professional activities in the field of health sports.

Preliminary Knowledge

Anatomy, physiology of sports, biochemistry of sports, basics of health sports, kinesiology.

Independently learn different course topics and exercise terminology according to the literature sources indicated by the lecturer. Improve exercise technique in the gym by using a variety of exercise equipment, free weights and dumbbells. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.

Participation in practice classes

Students attend a course lecture and classes. During classes, all training and training tasks must be fulfilled and the lesson form to be submitted to the e-learning environment after the last lesson must be completed accurately.

Individual test with HUR trainers

20.00% from total grade
10 points

In the individual examination, the student must be able to name THE HUR trainers and the exercises to be performed on them in the correct terminology; name the muscle groups loaded on the machine; show adjustments to the machine according to the size of the client and demonstrate exercises.

3.

Individual test with Technogym trainers

20.00% from total grade
10 points

Examination equipment in the work environment (fitness room), the student names Technogym trainers and exercises to be performed on them in correct terminology, names muscle groups loaded on the respective exercise equipment, shows the adjustments of the exercise equipment according to the size of the client and demonstrates exercises.

4.

Individual test with dumbbells and free weights

20.00% from total grade
10 points

Student demonstrates exercises using free weights and dumbbells, according to a terminological description. The student should be able to tell them about the specifics of the exercises, the busy muscle groups, their workload depending on different bodily conditions.

The terminological descriptions of the exercises are given in advance.

5.

Theoretical test

20.00% from total grade
10 points

The student must answer in writing and one theory question.

In order to take the theoretical exam, the student must pass all individual examinations and submit all classes forms.
