About Study Course

Objective

Indications and contraindications of pharmacological agents in interventional radiology, their interactions, side effects. Application in specific situations.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.During the course, the resident acquires theoretical knowledge about the possible effects of the most commonly used medications in patient care, will be able to define the indications and contraindications for the use of medications, post-treatment monitoring and rehabilitation. Knows circulatory collapse, shock treatment, clinical manifestations of hypersensitivity reactions, basic principles of treatment. Knows pharmacological agents: Anestetics, contrast media, sedatives, antihypertonic drugs, vasoasctive agents, anticoaugulants, DM medications, staatins, antibiotics, antiemetics.

1.Knows indications and contraindications of pharmacological agents in interventional radiology, their interactions, side effects and Application in specific situations.

Assessment of residents' knowledge includes testing of current knowledge - seminars and practical training (30%), patient analysis (20%), multi-choice tests and clinical situation analysis (50%). Examination of the acquired knowledge with differentiated assessment in a 10-point system.
