About Study Course
Objective
Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level required for internists about gastrointestinal tract and liver diseases.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the gastroenterology course resident knows causes, pathogenesis, manifestations, examination methods, differential diagnostics, prevention and treatment of gastroenterological diseases.
Skills
1.Upon completion of the gastroenterology course resident has acquired the skills and experience in examination, diagnostics, management, primary and secondary prevention of gastroenterological diseases.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
