About Study Course

Objective

To promote the competence of students in the meaningful use of information and communication technologies in sports pedagogy by developing skills to plan, organise and implement the learning process, to create digital learning content, to use digital tools and scientific databases in teaching and research activities, to cooperate and solve professional problem situations, as well as to implement project-based learning in accordance with the requirements of modern education and labour market.

Preliminary Knowledge

Understands the basic principles of planning and organizing the pedagogical process, is able to use computer and digital tools for learning purposes, create and design documents, search and evaluate information in the digital environment, collaborate in a group, and use information and communication technologies to support the learning process.

Job description: The student searches scientific databases (such as PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, or EBSCO), selects scientific publications on a selected topic of sports pedagogy, organizes literature sources using a bibliography management tool (such as EndNote), and produces a brief analysis of the sources found.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. You must select at least 5 scientific sources, create a correctly designed bibliography list in the bibliography management tool, and submit a brief overview of the literature analysis.

Evaluation parameters and criteria: assess information search skills in scientific databases by determining whether scientific sources relevant to the topic are selected. Evaluates the use of the bibliography management tool by determining whether the literature sources are organized and presented according to the requirements. Evaluate the literature analysis by determining whether conclusions have been correctly drawn and professional terminology has been used.

Development of digital teaching material in sports teaching

Job description: The student develops digital learning material in sports pedagogy using several digital tools acquired in the study course. Integrates digital content, interactive elements, and relevant scoring or feedback tools into the material.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. The developed material should be presented at the seminar, justifying the suitability of the selected digital tools for the learning outcomes to be achieved.

Evaluation parameters and criteria: assess the choice of digital tools by determining whether they are consistent with the learning objective and the results to be achieved. Assess the quality of the digital learning material by determining whether it is methodically sound, functional and usable in the learning process. Evaluates the student’s ability to justify the chosen solutions and demonstrate the use of digital tools.

Job description: The examination consists of the written and practical part. In the written part, the student answers theoretical questions regarding the use of digital technologies in sports pedagogy, the choice of digital tools, the use of scientific databases and the principles of digital security. In the practical part, the student demonstrates the ability to use the digital tools acquired in the study course to solve a specific pedagogical task.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the understanding of theoretical knowledge by determining whether the student explains the possibilities for using digital technologies and scientific databases in sports pedagogy. Assess the practical use of digital tools by determining whether the chosen solution is consistent with the task and learning outcomes to be achieved. Evaluates the ability to justify the choice of digital tools, respect the principles of academic integrity and a secure digital environment.
