About Study Course

Objective

To provide theoretical knowledge and the acquisition of practical skills for providing hemodialysis, the requirements of the regulations of the vascular surgeon specialty, in order to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After completing the course, the student will be able to: - Correctly choose the diameter of the fistula, the diameter of the autovenous synthetic prosthesis and the thickness of its wall, -Knows the advantages of localization when creating long-term A-V fistulas, -Knows the average duration of fistula operation.

Skills

1.After completing the course, the student will be able to: - Diagnose the insufficiency of fistula operation, localization and choose a correction method, -Know how to evaluate the functioning of the fistula using non-invasive diagnostic methods.

Competences

1.To provide emergency assistance for permanent complications of A-V fistulas, know the action algorithm.
