Knowledge
1.Students explain the risk factors, manifestations and consequences of psychological crises and mental trauma.
2.Describes the psychological aspects of suicide.
3.Describes and characterises the basic principles of psychological help for people in crisis.
Skills
1.Students analyse the possible risk factors, manifestations and consequences of crises and psychological trauma in the given cases.
2.Students evaluate the manifestations of acute and post-traumatic stress disorders based on current disease classifiers.
3.Students create a crisis intervention plan, perform crisis intervention in threes.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge about psychological crises and trauma, students analyse cases of psychological crises and trauma, develop a crisis intervention plan, perform a case study crisis intervention in groups of three, explain crisis, PTSD, suicide prevention measures.

1. Independent reading of the indicated literature; case analysis, development and demonstration of an intervention plan.
2. Analysis of case study crisis intervention protocols.

In small groups (3-4 people) role play with demonstration of crisis intervention (trying the roles of advisor, client and observer each). Case descriptions will be provided during the classes or students can choose their own cases. |

In the role of observer, prepare and submit a video recording (10 min of the tutorial) and an assessment (according to certain criteria). When sending the assessment, indicate the surname of the advisor. |

Self-reflection on the role-playing from the role of the advisor and the plan for further tutorials, according to the given plan (up to 1 page, Times New Roman 12pt. |

According to the RSU Academic Regulations (2.15, 2.16), attendance at study course classes is mandatory. Justified absences are only those that have been registered and agreed upon by Student Services. Please refer to the Academic Regulations (2.17, 2.20) for the procedure, deadlines and more detailed information. Students must attend at least 50% of the study course classes. If more than 50% of the total number of classes are missed, the student will not be allowed to take the final exam of the study course and the course will not be passed. |
