About Study Course
Objective
To introduce to the examination of woman in labour, assessment of fetal well-being, to make the delivery plan. To manage physiological labour and the postpartum period. To learn operative obstetrics. To learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation of pregnant women on a phantom.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Theoretical knowledge of physiological and pathological labour, postnatal period. Knowledge of assessment of foetal well-being in labour. Knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation of pregnant women.
Skills
1.Skills to perform patient examination during labour, to make diagnosis and a plan for delivery. Skills to assess fetal well-being in labour. Skills to assist or to independently perform operations or manipulation in obstetrics. Skills to perform adult cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on the simulator.
Competences
1.Obtained experience in examination during labour, making the plan for delivery, management of physiological labour, delivery and postpartum period.
