Skills
1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident will be able to solve issues in a team and independently and do the following: - to perform epidemiological investigation of disease cases/outbreaks, using all epidemiological investigation methods; - to calculate immunisation indicators, evaluate the effectiveness of vaccination; - to monitor the incidence of infectious diseases, the circulation of agents; - to organise anti-epidemic and prevention measures; - to manage emergency public health situations.
Competences
1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident will achieve competence and will be able to do the following independently: - to perform epidemiological intelligence; - to carry out operations in the context of the early warning and rapid response system; - to conduct an epidemiological investigation related to healthcare-associated infections, organise antibiotic resistance monitoring; - to implement the immunisation programme and epidemiological monitoring of vaccine-regulated infectious diseases; - to organise public health protection measures, according to the degrees and levels of threats.
