About Study Course
Objective
Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level required for internists about endocrine diseases.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of endocrinology course resident is familiar with the possible causes and mechanisms of pathogenesis of common endocrine gland dysfunctions, the interaction of the endocrine glands, endocrine disease clinical manifestation forms, laboratory and instrumental methods of investigation, their indications and result interpretation, primary and secondary prevention and management endocrine diseases.
Skills
1.Upon completion of endocrinology course resident has obtained the skills of endocrine diseases investigation, diagnostics and differential diagnostics, differentiated use of treatments.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
