About Study Course

Objective

To acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in conducting practical classes using the latest methods in fitness. The aim of the course is to provide general information about the Functional training of the New generation (beginning of the 21st century) with a holistic approach, explaining the history and directions of its formation.

Preliminary Knowledge

Anatomy, Physiology, Basics of health sports, Basics of gymnastics and terminology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of learning the study course, students name different methods and types of classes – exercise for health and characterise their nature, will be able to define what holistic functional training and its mandatory composition components mean.

2.Will be able to characterize R. Stainbacher’s holistic functional training system, BODYART ®, and its top programs.

Skills

1.As a result of learning the study course, students recognize various exercise methods for health and assess the necessity of practicing them for fitness clients.and will be able to practically lead the introductory part of BODYART® training (the first 2 Energy phases), will be able to define and use BODYART® breathing techniques and will be able to use appropriate terminology.

Competences

1.Using the acquired knowledge and basic skills, students analyse, plan, realize and synthesize exercises and types of classes of different exercise methods for health, WILL be able to apply ELEMENTS of BODYART ®, breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as knowledge of the importance of muscle fascia chain engagement and functional posture in different fitness classes.

2.Will be able to assess the necessity and suitability of applying BODYART ® elements to fitness club customers with different levels of fitness.

Video footage of the student conducting THE first two energy phases of BODYART ®, i.e., has been independently prepared, filmed and sent to the lecturer. 7 exercises over 10 minutes using the correct terminology, demonstrating proper and high-quality motion execution, according to THE BODYART ® methodology.
