Knowledge
1.The student demonstrates the necessary knowledge and understanding of the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases and syndromes, according to the theoretical concepts of traditional Chinese medicine.
Skills
1.The student is able to independently use the acquired knowledge in solving the problems of the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases and syndromes in line with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
Competences
1.The student is able to do the following: • interpret the mechanisms of pathogenesis of syndromes, forms of clinical manifestation; • collect anamnesis, recognize possible disease risk factors; • evaluate the degree of disturbance and the corresponding risks by analysing the obtained information; • evaluate the syndrome under consideration and be able to analyse it according to the concepts of the pathophysiology in traditional Chinese medicine.

75% of the assessment for the presentation – understanding the mechanisms of pathogenesis of diseases in traditional Chinese medicine, clinical manifestations (theoretical knowledge) and 25% for work with the patient – explanation of the pathogenesis of the syndrome and clinical symptom manifestations from the point of view of traditional Chinese medicine.
