Knowledge
1.In the Industrial Pharmacy program – in-depth knowledge of the development and production of dosage forms, quality control, development and distribution of registration dossiers. In the Clinical pharmacy program – in-depth and expanded theoretical and methodological knowledge in clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, drug metabolism and their interactions, pharmaceutical biochemistry and toxicology, pharmacoeconomics.
Skills
1.In the Industrial pharmacy program – is able to find, select, analyze, use scientific literature, compile scientific literature, perform data processing, summarize the obtained information, critically analyze it, give your assessment and present the results. In the Clinical pharmacy program – is able to use the acquired knowledge and problem-solving skills, the principles of evidence-based pharmacy to carry out research work, as well as highly qualified clinical pharmacist professional functions, choosing the most appropriate medical treatment model for the patient and monitoring medical treatment. Able to independently formulate and critically analyze the pharmacotherapy prescribed to patients, taking into account the diagnosis, symptoms, results of examinations, as well as the principles of safety, efficacy and economy, if necessary, propose pharmacotherapy adjustments.
Competences
1.In the Industrial Pharmacy program – is able to apply research skills and problem-solving skills to the analysis of situations in the pharmaceutical industry, is able to integrate theoretical knowledge acquired in pharmacy and industrial pharmacy studies, as well as, if necessary, supplement knowledge to solve problems and substantiate one's opinion. Able to assess the degree of evidence of the data and decide on further action. In the Clinical pharmacy program – is able to explain and discuss the issues of drug prescribing (pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacoeconomic analysis) with healthcare professionals and patients. Able to formulate and analyze current problems in clinical pharmacy, compile scientific literature, choose the most appropriate way to solve the problem and obtain data, process data, summarize the information obtained, analyze it, give their assessment and present the results.

The student analyzes the problem situation and prepares the presentation independently, using all available information – internationally recognized informative databases, RSU and other library resources, State Agency of Medicines website, materials obtained in the study process, etc. information based on evidence-based principles. The presentation of the problem situation should include references to the sources used.

The analysis of the problem situation and the presentation are evaluated by the National Degree Examination Commission using the presentation evaluation criteria.
Evaluation criteria in the Industrial Pharmacy program – understanding of the development and production of dosage forms; understanding of the technological equipment and apparatus used in the manufacture of medicines, the principles of their operation and the possibilities of use; understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice in the manufacture of finished dosage forms and active pharmaceutical ingredients, understanding of the role of audits in manufacturing, compliance of the information used with evidence-based principles; presentation design, presentation skills (speech confidence, ability to argue one's point of view).
Evaluation criteria in the Clinical Pharmacy program – understanding of the patient's clinical data; adequacy of the evaluation of drug therapy; drug therapy recommendations (prepared by the student); defined and / or understood goals of drug therapy (which are intended to be achieved as a result of therapy); analysis of possible side effects of drug therapy; recommendations for the patient and / or caregiver; calculation of therapy costs; compliance of the information used with the principles of evidence-based medicine; presentation design, presentation skills (speech confidence, ability to argue one's point of view).
