Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.To define the role of the microbiology laboratory in a multiprofile hospital, organise sample flow, describe sample collection and transport, define rejection criteria, organise quality control according to ISO standards and the institution’s quality policy.
Skills
1.To handle samples, assess their compliance with the requirements of the test method, work with the laboratory and hospital information system.
Competences
1.In organising the quality control of laboratory work, forming the flow of samples, taking the right samples, transporting, storing, recovering, accepting and rejecting them.
