Knowledge
1.The resident is able to describe skin pathologies: • explain the causes; • assess the severity of skin diseases; • name and describe the main skin diseases.
Skills
1.The resident will be able to: • gather essential information about skin diseases; • apply an appropriate method for caring for diseased skin; • carry out differential diagnosis of skin diseases; • choose the most suitable/appropriate therapy; • select and use the most appropriate examinations.
Competences
1.The resident is able to use the acquired knowledge about skin diseases for differential diagnosis: • is able to formulate diagnoses of skin diseases; • differentiate skin diseases; • interpret the obtained data on skin changes; • develop skin care recommendations.

During the study course, the resident must acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of skin diseases, their diagnosis, treatment, prevention, as well as be able to provide consultations to patients, their relatives and other medical personnel within the scope of their specialty.
